Michael oversees our advice, and runs the firm’s investment operations.
Michael has devoted most of his career to training advisors in the creation and delivery of high-quality financial advice. His leadership career began in 2001 when he became the Manager of Financial Planning for the San Francisco Bay Area for a major national firm. He eventually served as a Director within the firm’s Financial Planning and Advice department, promoting advanced wealth strategies and leading a national team of regional planning experts.
Michael left the firm in 2013 when he co-founded Yoder Wealth Management with Anat. He frequently writes about various retirement-focused financial issues, and he serves as a select group of volunteers in creating material for the CFP exam. You can read some of his articles here.
Michael has a BA in applied mathematics and music from UC Berkeley. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist.
Anat is the primary contact for our clients, and is responsible for the delivery and execution of our firm’s advice.
Anat began her professional career in structural engineering, earning her PE license and working on several notable projects, including the Bay Bridge. She became a financial advisor in 2004 in order to direct her problem-solving skills toward work that was more personally meaningful for her. She is active in the community, and serves on the board of a local non-profit organization.
Anat has a BS in civil engineering, as well as an MS in structural engineering, both from UC Berkeley. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist.
Michelle has over 10 years of experience in financial services, most recently as an account manager for a national bank. She serves as our client concierge, and is responsible for appointment scheduling, money movements, and all other administrative duties within our practice. She has a BA from St. Mary’s College, and has lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years.
